For the Gangnam Style music video, due to the high expectations of his fans, Psy put in a lot of effort to come up with something new. He studied extensively for 30 days until he finally arrived at the Gangnam-style dance.

Before choosing the horse-riding dance move, he spent the month consulting with his choreographer, exploring various animal movements, including panda and kangaroo.

Initially, the song was intended for local fans only, but when the music video teaser was released on YouTube, it received 500,000 views on the first day, and so on.
